I like that flash of red that happens whenever Ed takes his coat off, so I wanted to do it, but more dream-like with just a streak. I probably shouldn't enjoy it as much as I do considering he's a minor, but seriously. That little boy is ripped. And he's got all kinds of kung-fu an shit.
Anyway...
I have wanted to do a FMA fan art for a long time. I hate drawing Alphonse every time I try to draw him. That's sad, because Al is my favorite character and I love him.
I tried doing this style I've been practicing in a full image (not just face shots) to see what would happen, and it's hard. I need to study more. Alphonse was especially difficult given the fact he is all mechanical, and that is hard for me to express without linear art. But I think if I keep practicing in this style, it'll start to come more naturally.
